Hampshire-based managed IT services provider entrustIT is accelerating its national expansion with the acquisition of Bedford’s DWM Technical Solutions. The move is part of a strategy to establish a physical presence in every major UK region.
The acquisition extends the group’s regional coverage and adds capabilities in small works electrical, AV, and smart building solutions, areas increasingly intersecting with IT infrastructure and managed services. DWM Technical Solutions will maintain its existing brand for now, ensuring continuity for both staff and clients.
Jeff Dodd, chief executive of entrustIT, said: “DWM is a natural fit with our business, strengthening our capabilities in IP integration. This partnership expands our reach in the UK and brings our combined team to more than 75 people.”
The deal also provides entrustIT with a bricks-and-mortar base in Bedford, reinforcing its operational network in a region where it already supports multiple nationwide clients.

Established in 2006 by two brothers, entrustIT is a private, family-owned company. It operates from several locations across the UK, aiming to deliver technology that drives business growth. The firm partners with multi-site, scaling organisations across professional services, manufacturing, logistics, retail, and healthcare, offering proactive IT support, consultancy, and managed cloud, connectivity, and security services.
