Hercules plc, a specialist in labour supply, has secured a number of sub-contract packages from clients operating in the UK water sector.
The new contracts, assigned to Hercules’ Civil Projects division, will commence in the first quarter of the 2026 financial year. Together, they are valued at approximately £6.2 million and are scheduled for completion within six months.
These projects involve essential enhancements and capacity expansions at water and wastewater treatment facilities across the country.
Based in Cirencester, Hercules will oversee and execute the projects across specific regions. The allocation includes £4.2 million for work within the Thames Water area and £2 million within the Anglian Water region.
The awards follow a previous announcement in September when Hercules disclosed new contracts in the UK water sector with a combined value of around £6.5 million over their lifetimes.
Brusk Korkmaz, CEO of Hercules, said: “These contract wins across the Thames Water and Anglian Water regions demonstrate the strength of our position in the UK water sector. With AMP8 now underway and the industry entering an unprecedented period of investment, our Civils Projects division is benefitting from the growing demand for our project delivery expertise.
“The scale of opportunity in the water sector is considerable as the sector’s investment programme accelerates. We are well placed to support our clients as they upgrade critical water and wastewater infrastructure nationwide.”
