Moore Kingston Smith (MKS), together with partner firms across Europe, has announced the launch of Auren, a professional services group designed to strengthen each firm’s local market position while adding greater cross-border capability for clients.
The move brings leading firms across six markets under a shared identity they can shape together. The firms are already part of the same legal group and have collaborated closely for several years; nearly all are also part of the Moore Global network, through which they share clients, quality standards and thought leadership.
The formal transition to the Auren brand will take place in March 2027, creating a clearer platform for growth while maintaining the local relationships, expertise and leadership that clients value today.
Auren combines the strengths of established firms across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands with a shared ambition to build one of Europe’s leading SME and mid-market professional services groups. With collaboration focused on AI-driven innovation and specialist expertise, clients will benefit from deeper cross-border capability and more coordinated support across multiple markets.
Matt Meadows, Managing Partner at Moore Kingston Smith said: “Over recent years we’ve invested heavily in our capabilities, expanded our reach, developed close relationships and shared clients with like-minded firms.
“As those relationships have grown, it became clear that we’ll achieve more together than we could individually. Auren reflects that belief, bringing leading firms under one shared identity shaped around our clients, culture and strategy.
“For clients, this means stronger international connections when needed, and enhanced capability across key markets, while continuing to work with the trusted teams and advisers they know. For our people, it creates exciting new opportunities to collaborate, develop and grow as part of a broader international platform.”
The firm will maintain its local presence, leadership and client relationships, while remaining a member of the Moore UK and Moore Global networks.
Matt Meadows added: “This is an exciting milestone for our business and the natural next step in our evolution. Auren strengthens our position under a brand we’re shaping, while adding greater investment capacity in innovation, specialist expertise and cross-border collaboration. Our client relationships, local understanding and focus on quality that our clients value today remain firmly at the heart of our business.”
