On Friday 19th December, the Lexicon is set to sparkle with Christmas cheer as it launches Festive Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
During, visitors can enjoy an array of free live entertainment throughout the evening – including performances from stilt-walking band, The Ten Foot Troubadours, uplifting harmonies from Vocalese Choir, and mesmerising appearances from the Mirror Men.
Younger guests also have a lot to look forward to on the day – where they can enjoy special character meet-and-greets. Blizzard and Snowball the Penguins will be there with the Grinch, as well as Percy Pig who will be outside M&S and the Mario Brothers – who will be around High Score Arcade.
For those who are fans of Paddington Bear, his appearance will start slightly earlier from 2pm in Princess Square – where youngsters can meet the fluffy bear for a hug and photo.
Centre director at The Lexicon, Tom Henderson, says: “Festive Friday is a brand-new addition to our Christmas calendar, designed to bring even more seasonal fun to The Lexicon.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to come together, enjoy brilliant entertainment and soak up the festive atmosphere. If the community loves it as much as we think they will, we’d be delighted to make it a regular Christmas highlight.”
Not only all this, but The Lexicon Express is also running daily for just £1 per ride, and is lit up with twinkling lights. Visitors can also enjoy the free Christmas trail and the Snap, Tag and Share selfie gift competition for a chance to win gift cards.
Plus, for those hoping to find some festive food and unique gifts, the Festive Market is open to explore.
