Leading audit, accountancy, tax, and advisory firm Bishop Fleming has announced eight partner promotions – its largest number to date – as it continues to grow across the West Midlands and South West, bringing the total number of new partners appointed over the last year to 13.
The firm’s audit team celebrated five promotions with Alastair Campbell, Tom Morrill, Charlie Martin, Jamie Vinall and Matt Haskell being made partners. Adele Clapp and Becky Targett in the tax team and Phil Redgate in advisory were also promoted to partner, demonstrating the ongoing growth and demand for high-quality audit, tax and advisory support.
This latest round of promotions reinforces the firm’s commitment to developing talent across its nine offices, following a year in which 56 colleagues were promoted at every level of Bishop Fleming, with particularly strong progression at Assistant Manager and Manager level. Alongside this, Bishop Fleming’s Great Places to Work Survey score increased to 80%, signalling the firm’s commitment to support, fairness and inclusion, pride in community impact and celebrating colleagues’ achievements and progression.
The promotions follow a successful year of growth and expansion, particularly for Bishop Fleming’s Birmingham office. Since it opened in January 2025, the office has rapidly scaled to eight partners and more than 30 colleagues to establish a strong Midlands hub and extend the firm’s geographic reach into new markets.
Andrew Sandiford, Managing Partner at Bishop Fleming, said:
“These promotions recognise the outstanding talent, ambition and commitment of our people. Each individual has made a meaningful contribution to our clients, our teams and the wider business, consistently demonstrating the leadership, expertise and values that define Bishop Fleming.
“With 13 new partners appointed this year alone, taking our partner group to almost 60, these promotions mark an exciting moment in the firm’s continued growth. They also reflect the strength of our talent pipeline, and our goal of expanding to more than 60 partners by the end of the year.
“Over the past 12 months, revenue has exceeded £50m and we have welcomed nearly 1,000 new clients. As we continue to expand our tax, advisory and audit teams, supported by the expertise of our partners and colleagues, we are well placed to build on this momentum and further strengthen our position as one of the South West and Midland’s leading audit, accountancy, tax and advisory firms.”
