A South West-based company specialising in the off-site construction of mission-critical facilities has reported continued growth in its latest results, alongside international expansion.
Headquartered in Cheltenham since 2009, BRG Technologies has delivered over 300 data centres, healthcare, and pharmaceutical facilities across Europe, North America, Australia, and Africa. The company recently appeared in the Financial Times 1000 and ranked in the top 500 of Europe’s fastest-growing firms.
Accounts for the year ending 31 March 2025 show turnover fell 18 per cent to £148 million from £180 million in 2024. The directors attributed this decline to a “conscious decision to consolidate the healthcare division”.
Despite the drop in revenue, operating profit margins improved from 5.7 per cent to 6.1 per cent. Operating cash flow remained strong, and the company ended the year with “robust cash and net asset balances”. Pre-tax profits decreased slightly to just over £11 million from £11.7 million the previous year.
The business employed an average of 128 staff, including directors, up from 117 the year before. Directors noted that the company had “continued to build on its strong foundations” during the period.
A key achievement for BRG Technologies was the completion of its first major Hyperscale Data Centre project in the UK for Ark Data Centres, its exclusive partner. Two further projects of similar scale also commenced in the UK.
Internationally, the company expanded its operations with the construction of its first Edge Data Centre in the US, the “Allin-One”, as well as additional phases for a confidential client.
