Taylor Wimpey South Midlands is preparing to officially open its new Hampden Fields West Aylesbury development, inviting prospective buyers to a launch event on Saturday 24 January.
The event will run from 10am to 5pm and will give visitors the opportunity to explore four newly unveiled showhomes, speak directly with Sales Executives about the new-build buying process and enjoy refreshments provided by Aylesbury-based coffee business Drip and Drive. The launch marks the first public showcase of the development, which forms part of Aylesbury’s continued residential growth.
Hampden Fields West Aylesbury development is located on the edge of a town with a long and varied history, from its origins as an Iron Age settlement and Anglo-Saxon stronghold to its later role as Buckinghamshire’s county town. Today, Aylesbury continues to expand, with housing growth supporting its position as a key centre in central Buckinghamshire.
The four showhomes on display introduce new house types to the area. These include the three-bedroom Aynesdale, designed with family living in mind; the three-bedroom Eynsford, aimed at couples and young families; the four-bedroom Colford, offering flexible living spaces; and the five-bedroom Thirlford, which features generous bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen-dining area.
The wider Hampden Fields West Aylesbury development will deliver a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes intended to meet the needs of a range of buyers. Sustainability has been incorporated into the design, with energy-efficient measures such as air source heat pumps and triple-glazed windows included as standard. Current prices range from £430,000 for a three-bedroom home to £550,000 for a four-bedroom detached property.
The development’s name reflects the area’s historic links to John Hampden, a prominent Parliamentarian figure during the English Civil War whose legacy remains visible in Aylesbury today, including a statue in the town’s market square. The location also places residents close to Stoke Mandeville, itself known internationally as the birthplace of the Paralympic movement.
Fiona Lloyd, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, said: “We’re looking forward to the official opening ceremony of our new Hampden Fields West development and showcasing our brand new showhomes to the public. At Taylor Wimpey, we understand the value of experiencing before buying, which is why these opening events are so important to us.
“Hampden Fields West is set to bring plenty of green space alongside our homes, including a wildflower meadow and community orchard, giving residents the chance to establish new connections across the development.
“We encourage anyone interested in moving to Hampden Fields West to come join us on Saturday 24th January.”
Residents at Hampden Fields West Aylesbury development will benefit from access to established local amenities, including grammar schools founded as far back as the 16th century, cultural venues such as the Waterside Theatre, and shopping and dining options across the town centre. Transport links via the A413 and nearby rail services also provide connections to London and the wider region, supporting Aylesbury’s ongoing evolution as a well-connected market town.
